*2014 I Cooperative for e-participation I partou eG
Growing demands in the market of the non-profit association Liquid Democracy e.V. and expansion strategies into commercial markets asked for a shift in the business model and strategy. Due to a non-commercial ideology within the association, a corresponding brand and restraining laws alternative growth scenarios had to be developed.
The partou cooperative was founded as a spin-off from the association to tackle commercial demands of the emerging e-participation market with a different business model, new brand and a more pragmatic and business oriented organisational culture. The two organisations would build a value network and co-develop their common software. Differentiated by their business models and its resulting offer.
