*2015 I Funded research project I partou eG
How to democratise corporates? How to alter processes and software coming from political participation to suit the needs of businesses? These were the main questions when writing the research proposal ‘participation as a service’ in the context of ‘KMU-Innovativ’ from the ‘Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung’. In partnership with Liquid Democracy e.V., HRpepper and Forschungszentrum Informatik at Karlsruhe Institut of Technology.
With the project half way, the group was able to create a common understanding of the theoretical background on (e)participation, executed expert interviews, analysed cases and developed models as well as 7 principles on e-participation to assist consulting. Beyond that, conceptualisation of new services and software features is in the making with implementation starting in Q2, 2016.

*2013 I Redesign of an e-participation platform and its commercialisation strategy I Master Thesis
Liquid Democracy e.V. is a non-profit association providing e-participation software for qualitative political participation. Due to demands that exceed the possible commercial earnings of a non-profit, without being at risk to lose the non-profit status, a strategy has to be developed that sustain operations, meets increased customer expectations and incorporates the core values and vision of the association.
Conceptual redesign of the e-participation software ‘Adhocracy’ aligned to customer needs and strategic considerations embedded in a modular service framework. Including a business design for a social enterprise accompanied by a business case for the commercialisation of the redesign.
